September 11, 2014: Krrish? KRUSHED.

Julie MKrrish 3 (2013): Stupidest. Movie. Ever.

Jenny K:  Didn’t you loooove Viveik [Oberoi]’s pie-plate armor? NOT!!

Julie M:  Bad CGI, fight scenes that lasted WAY too long, and the most inane dialogue and plot devices ever. Hrithik [Roshan] should be ashamed of himself–and just as he was starting to make a name as a serious actor. This one made Ra.One look good, and that’s saying something.  The only reasonably entertaining part was in the beginning, where Krishna kept losing various jobs because he had to turn into Krrish and go save someone.

(and that’s all we are going to say about that)

  1. Now, it’s been a while since the first disappointed shock of my viewing Krrish 3, and though I’m not going to recommend it to any except those in desperate need of a Hrithik-ogle, I did want to go on record as saying that all the actors involved, especially the much put-upon Viveik, tried their utmost to sell this meager script. Before he took the fatal misstep of donning the aluminum, he was surprising me with his skill at playing an interesting and convincing villain. Can’t act your way out of a tin hat….unless you’re Ian McKellan, of course.

  2. Sorry. Viveik struck me as wooden. Maybe it was the script, or maybe because his character was paralyzed, but his delivery was unconvincing and his character one-dimensional. FAIL.
